A new identity | WindEurope

We’re delighted to work closely with FORESIGHT Climate & Energy at RE-Source and Electric City 2021. Working with FORESIGHT means that we can provide our guests with independent expert journalistic analysis of the most essential topics in the energy transition. The EU has committed to cutting greenhouse gas emissions by 55% compared to 1990 by 2030, a key milestone in reaching climate neutrality in 2050. The European Commission’s findings show that direct electrification, complemented with the indirect electrification of hard-to-abate sectors, is the most cost-effective and energy effective way to cut energy sector emissions to net-zero by 2050. We are pleased to partner with FORESIGHT to give electrification topics the right focus and the in-depth analysis and to reach out with these messages to key decision-makers in order to accelerate the energy transition
